emmm to prevent engine overheating, DIY a temperature warning light will light up when temperature over the normal by 5c to 10c.. any ideal sifu??

ur car already got a neddle showing de temperature of ur engine... so y wanto put another light?

i think not practical.. bcos ur engine will not always overheat... so if u put a light.. will be "chor teng" n will never light up until ur engine overheats.. until now.. i never experience an overheating engine b4..

well.. i suggest dat u put a water temperature meter which give u constant reading would be much better... :)

emm maybe do we have temperature meter with warning light .. at least when ur car temp going over heat abit u know ma so wont burn ur gasket cause alot of money to replace lo...cam save ur engine form overheat ma...no need big 1 just small so we will notice event we have extra meter but we still wont notice that much untill max dy only we know le...

no i think... but some ppl drive untill engine jam only they know their engine overheat dy le...

emmm i also dun know how much my max temp... so any one have any ideal ??emmmm by the way ....when i drive i also seldom notice my temp meter lo... wandering got after market 1 huh??

yes.....agreed..........Y not have your radiator clean up FIRST.... put inside clean water such as filtered water or if affordable use RO water n flush out each 4 months or 6 months its depands on U.....n inspect your radiator n condensor fan...make sure both fan working........inspect your water hose make sure no leaking n crack at the hose n the joinning......n last make sure your engine oil is enough n no leaking........

its just my 2 cents.........regards

then don't worry about the temp already.....temp will not going up one......can concentrate on the road...

agree.. always maintain ur water/coolen..

well.. one simple n easy way.. always spend a little time for ur eyes to look at de temperature needle once in a while... especially ur engine has warmed up or in traffic jam...

Yeah, check the radiator, c still got water or not coz it might leaking someway and you didn't notice it... :)

Like Mr. Kabu said, clean the radiator. It makes a big difference. :D The water in my radiator used to be like milo-super-kao-kao. Then of coz kena diu kao kao by friends lah.

Last last if radiator is clean and got water but still temperature goes up...then check the thermostat...could be jammed. ;)
