the price you'll be paying cost more than getting a MIVEC block that is built in with oil squirt. THe block also comes with a higher pressure oil pump. So, why wanna face all the hassle...?
Ohh.. it's to avoid the hassle of engine endorsement... Well, it does reduce the oil pressure. According to some of my friend, the oil pump pressure of GSR and MIVEC is higer in order supply the oil to the squirter...
But when I BOTing my engine, I was doing surveys on doing the oil squirters. One of the engineering shop charges me RM400 juust to install the squirter + I have to look for the squirter myself... And those things are not easy to find...
So, after I spoil my block due to using second hand pistons and revving before the engine runs in, I finally decided to get a MIVEC block... That's my experience...
