anyone has done before for their block?

i'm using 4g92 block...

if i add additional oil squirt at the cylinder part, will it reduce the oil pressure n result less oil pressure to the head?

cheers

the price you'll be paying cost more than getting a MIVEC block that is built in with oil squirt. THe block also comes with a higher pressure oil pump. So, why wanna face all the hassle...?

coz would wish to use back current block... :)

cheers

Ohh.. it's to avoid the hassle of engine endorsement... Well, it does reduce the oil pressure. According to some of my friend, the oil pump pressure of GSR and MIVEC is higer in order supply the oil to the squirter...

But when I BOTing my engine, I was doing surveys on doing the oil squirters. One of the engineering shop charges me RM400 juust to install the squirter + I have to look for the squirter myself... And those things are not easy to find...

So, after I spoil my block due to using second hand pistons and revving before the engine runs in, I finally decided to get a MIVEC block... That's my experience...

the squirters, i did some search n says evo8 squirters can be used, i think it also apply to evo7 and 8...

hmmm... the oil pump, normally mechanics will add washer to increase the pressure.. will it apply?

cheers

not too sure about it... i ended up using full mivec block 4G92 complete with pump.
