Car jerking:help...helpp..

hi lozo,
any idea about the stock fuel pressure with vacum hose connect and also without vacum hose connect?

disconnect vacuum hose, stock fuel pressure is at 2.7-3.2 bar

i set mine at 3 bar. when the vacuum hose is connected, at idle, should be around 2 something bar

yesterday i set it with the vacum hose connected around 2.7bar. Then go test the car. but ho...i open the hood n check again...the pressure was go down around ~2bar. how come ha????:hmmmm:
then i adjust it back to 2.7bar again. tonight will try again without connect to the solenoid (direct to manifold) for the vacum hose.

lozo,
ur 3bar is with or without vacum hose?

without.

it is a normal practice to set the fuel pressure without the vacuum hose connected. btw, did you properly tighten the lock nut at the adjustment screw ?

hi lozo,
that the most confusing part...some ppl said set with and some set without...
btw, y set without? to simulate the pressure when WOT?

assuming if it is n/a, exactly..it is to simulate wot. or the maximum fuel pressure set.

if turbo, got boost..surely higher than atmospheric pressure.

anyway, the manual stated "2.7-3.2 bar with vacuum hose disconnected"

yups..i saw that also...only the part that i wondering is only around 2bar+ with vacum hose connected. that seem very low..hehhee
but if install this FPR then run away to kl for dyno tune also feel a bit waste..some more the petrol so high now..haiz..y mlc dont have dyno machine....
