hi,

radiator fan motor speed is usually controlled by resistor which controls the electric flow to fan motor, can we somehow modify current motor to spin at higher rate? i.e set to lower resistor so more current into the motor and it will spin faster?

any disadvantage of doing this if possible?

theres a possibility the fan motor will die significantly sooner than it was originally intended to....

find out wat voltage range the motor runs at...and avoid going above the max...

id recommend getting the high speed fans instead honestly

that makes sense, i wouldn want to change motor as often but how do i find high speed fan that will fit the original place?

i know jasma has high performance fan but i doubt the quality plus it does not come with shroud

hmm, i wonder whether the pivot fan controller can alter the speed..

thats the thing..even if we can increase the speed, the fan might kong earlier coz it was only meant to spin at current rate

my friend told me waja fan can fit nicely in the shroud in kelisa, wondering if i need to get waja fan motor also or not? or simply slide in new fan and its good to go

Actually, the easiest way to change the thermostat at the radiator so the fan will turn on at a lower temp.

To make the fan go faster, you will need to increase the voltage. I.e. install a DC-DC converter. However, its not worth the effort and cost because fans can take up to 10A and such voltage boosters that can supply 10A are expensive.

If not, another method is to change the fan.

Another is to wire the fan directly to your batt so it will run at max speed continuously. However, no advantage in doing so unless you are planning to make AC run cooler.

understood, i guess i would fit a fan from bigger car. question is do i need to change motor as well?
