Depends wat u mean by braking performance. Without being technical...heheh. Mainly they help with pedal feel, cuz they resist expansion :)

yes.... braided brake hose will increase braking performance.... in a sense that no more sluggish brakes.... they wont help the brakes to grip more.... but it helps in distributing the force evenly....

hehe....my oem brake pad cost abt RM80/pair. Changed the pad like, 3 years ago and still using them. OEM brake pads is OK for me as I do not do abrupt stopping. Drive car like unker only mar..

Anyway, just don't get those pads that are hard wearing type. Even though they last longer before needing replacement, they can "eat" the disk very fast.

Ferrodo brake pads are better than OEM ones. And Bosch power plus & Akebono too.Definitely if budget allowed u'd go for Endless or Project MU rite. And yes steel braided hoses will help.Transfering all the braking force thru the hose.

Care to tell me where to get Akebono brakepad? It's quite hard to find at any spare part shop

Taking a look back at the Almera Turbo one year on, let's talk about power. It's always easy to forget that at the heart of this zippy sedan sits a puny but potent, perfected 1.0T engine. More so, it's effectively a miniature sized performance powerplant with 1/4 the potency of its Nissan GTR cousin.

100ps / 152nm / 999cc 3 cylinder turbo / CVT / FWD / 1076kg / 180kmh / Almera VL RM83,888 SST...
