upgrade tire size from 195/55/15....to 195/60/15 ??

i heard it makes the ride more comfortable...

does it do anything to fuel comsumption or reduce torque?

thicker tyre gives u more comfortable ride, so yes it would give u more comfort.
Not sure bout the FC, but one thing i know is heavier wheels will worsen ur FC. No idea bout the torque

It wont affect much on ur fuel consumption but the speedometer's reading wont tele with the rotation cycle of the overall wheels when driving. In other words, if ur speedometer shows a reading of 100km/h, it might be +/- 2% difference.... say like 96 km/h or 106 km/h.

If ur ride is a Waja, then it's purely recommended as the originally fitted 55 series tyres doesnt give enough comfort during driving. Besides, it's easier for the rims to be dented if gone through a pothole (for 55 series tyres).

yeah, speedometer reading will be affected. previously i was using 195/50/15, then upgraded to 205/60/15. with the same engine specs, speedometer seem to move slower with 205/60...

yah... fitting in higher profile tyres will give more comfort.... reduce the chance of dented rims due to potholes.... yah, and ur speedo will be affected...

ur car original tyre is 55series ar? not comfort enuf? 60series is more comfort...but doesnt look nice..ur car wil look higher abit.....

my 2 cent

dang. A width of 205 is kinda wide, ain't it? hehehe I actually like 205 on 15" but if I use it, the tyre's gonna scrub the body when I corner hard. hahahaha
That would indicate that I need wide body, yeah? hehehe
