Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)..

I know bro... But try to give this a thought...

I used to be anal about ABS. Even when converting my drums to disc, i took time to shop for those that have ABS compatibility. But at last, I think ABS is mainly for less experienced/enthusiatic daily town drivers. For us who are no stranger to spirited driving, I believe we know how to control our foot to adjust braking force.

For me, I don't even know if my ABS are working now. There are a few times I emergency braked until the tires locked up. As a reflex, I released and pumped to free up the tires. I seriously do not know if it was me or my ABS. There is one time I purposely tried to test if my ABS worked. I jam braked and all tires locked up. I didn't seem to work but my ABS is not giving any warning code.

My point is, for people like us, I guess self controlled ABS is more or less a reflex already. Just my 2 cents... For me, I wouldn't go all out to get it like before anymore. But if possible and not too expensive, I would.

i do agree with u Veloc.. but still, we humans tends to make mistake..

furthermore, i also intend to install superstrut in my Levin.. thus making it 2 in 1 installation for my car..

1. ABS
2. Superstrut..

need to get a halfcut for those things coz people doesn't sell a complete ABS system & superstrut mostly they knock it out of a halfcut to sell.. with a hammer..

so, my plan is to buy a BZR halfcut & the special tool for superstrut..

need to fork out around RM6k for this.. :banghead:
