I know bro... But try to give this a thought...
I used to be anal about ABS. Even when converting my drums to disc, i took time to shop for those that have ABS compatibility. But at last, I think ABS is mainly for less experienced/enthusiatic daily town drivers. For us who are no stranger to spirited driving, I believe we know how to control our foot to adjust braking force.
For me, I don't even know if my ABS are working now. There are a few times I emergency braked until the tires locked up. As a reflex, I released and pumped to free up the tires. I seriously do not know if it was me or my ABS. There is one time I purposely tried to test if my ABS worked. I jam braked and all tires locked up. I didn't seem to work but my ABS is not giving any warning code.
My point is, for people like us, I guess self controlled ABS is more or less a reflex already. Just my 2 cents... For me, I wouldn't go all out to get it like before anymore. But if possible and not too expensive, I would.
