There is a small O ring inside the SVT solenoid but need to cut open the shell to reach it.
If we can replace it and close back the shell then we can solve the leak problem.

I think no need to crack open d solenoid.. There's a small clip like this at d end of that thing.. I think if u hv d tools, u can open it

for those who is still wondering why i got my short trumpet

Hmmm.... the "Corrected Horsepower" is accurate??

IMO, the more convincing way to dyno the engine with diff length of trumpet is to run-in the ECU first before hook it up to the dyno machine. Simply because the ECU need a little time to optimize its setting for the new trumpet.

@dzul: yup, but need to wait price qout from forman..

nice...how much for the coating...??

rm1xxx..

i know it's expensive.. but it would last a lifetime (if no accident )

1 of my fren did wrap his apexi header.. n it crack.. i think its bcoz of uneven wrap.. so, i wouldn't take chances with exhaust wrapping

:driver:

Can buy the ceramic coating paint from hardware shop and DIY. It will be a lot cheaper.
From the description, it mentioned that the paint (made in USA) is specifically for exhaust manifold coating purpose.
Cant remember where i saw the paint but you may try to go shopping at ACE Hardware.

yeah...its VHT flameproof...rated at 1k degree C but ace hardware dont have...they have engine enamel (rated at lower 500 degree) and those bbq pit spray ...i tried those...burnt off if you rev long and hard enough...but if spray at other engine part like block and head its ok...on exhaust manifold i afraid it wont last long...
