Aluminium air valve

Hi guys,
I believe most of us are using aluminium/steel air valve instead of the stock rubber ones.
I'm having this problem everytime I pump air into the tyres.
The center valve (which will release air if we press it) always gets stuck at the bottom, hence air keeps coming out and I'll have to use something sharp to poke it side ways to get it pop up again.
Is this normal? I'm using K-Speed ones and its really pissing me off.
Some says its the middle valve wasn't installed correctly and some said its normal for these kinda valves. Any solutions?

If it is so much a hassle, change back to rubebr valves.

That would be the choice if it can't be solved.

Skywalker,
Change the whole new valve or just change the middle piece? Cos they will always replace the middle piece everytime I change tyres.
