Haha... this isn't completed yet actually. I'll redo another one based on this mockup.

If full enclosure, you can still hear a bit, still louder than original airbox. But I want to keep the top open cos I want the sound.

Been using open pod for almost a month now. From performance wise, car does have better response when it's on the move, in morning or at night when air is cool. On hot afternoons, it felt weaker than original airbox especially traffic jam situation and stop-go speed hump crossing. This is anticipated considering the openess to engine heat but not overly weak. I can still live with it considering the trade for the intake sound where my wife labeled it as annoying or something wrong with the car. Hahaha...

For FC, it has seens slight improvement of around 0.3-0.5 km more per liter of fuel.

A DIY project during weekend. I used high-temp paint which can withstand up to 1000F. So far, it's okay, not fading or smoking yet. This is just to make my engine compartment less ugly. Hahaha...

I don't have it now. I got it from ACE Hardware for RM35.90. These kind of paint are usually used on BBQ stove.

Yes, they do have a few colors but not like many choices. Silver, black, white, dark blue, maroon and dark green. Can't remember the rest.
