Happy thursday zthians :wavey:...Im looking into getting a 1JZ engine for my car,and it seems that 1JZ turbos are way to scary for me, and im looking into getting a vvti 1JZGE(NA),and i had this idea  where it would have 6 throttles(ITB) from the 4age 20V blacktop(buy 2 sets of throttle..cut one in half 2 throttle+4throttle=6 throttle )
is it possible with the right amount of money?
has anyone done this before?
and how will the MAP sensor work with this new set up?
feel free to share your opinions?

this project is interesting..

i've seen BT 4 throttle on Honda B16..

i think it can be done.. just need money and patient

after all, it's just metal parts

My suggestion is cut d 1st & 4th throttle and put it at both side of d trottle u wanna put in ur car

So that the throttle body sit in d center of those 6 throttle

my views...:itsme:
- you might need standalone ecu
- throttle linkages - need good machinery to fabricate, so throttle open for all 6 are balance

possibly the idling would be better compared to 4throttle...

Can but you need to sort out tuning issues..Jaspal Motorsport has a 2jz with 6 throttle setup..if you are interested pm me will provide you with his num

We can do custom design & fabrication of aluminum adapter to mount individual throttle body.
Using CAD & CNC precision machining method. Give us a call & ask for a quote for any of your custom made parts!!

wow looks like you're going the NA route... i believe it can be done... last time my kelisa also using 4 throttle from BT but of course minus one throttle... very nice sound but management is a pain in the butt!!! idling really bad...

read this before, i hope i'm not wrong...
requires a good management with few mappings reference...
like TPSvsRPM etc as MAP alone cannot due to vacuum... i think...

Yes can be done, however if the engine is using Airflow (i believe 1jz vvti n/a is using airflow),you need a aftermarket ecu (standalone) to control it using MAP sensor,or you need to custom made an intake plenum to fit the airflow meter before the 6 throttles if you want to run stock ecu.

good idea bro, note taken

thank you bro,i will write this down.

Cheeft just trying out my options bro, hopefully it will happen.thanks

that is going to take some tinkering and a really good workshop to sort this out.

that means i have to get a ecu like HKS fcon V? yup i am thinking of fabricating a custom intake plenum but this is the initial plan for this project, just have to get the money, and a willing mechanic to help me along with this project:biggrin:

p.s thanks you all for your support, and sorry for the late reply.:driver:
