Hi guys,

Im looking at the rota ce28 16" 8j ET20 (Deep concave) at the moment. The reason why i choose 16" its not too big neither small. My bigger concerns are,

1) does 8j rim clear my turning radius?
2) Will ET20 make the rims to come out of fender( front) and body (rear)?

I have not gone to the rims shop to do any fittings, just before i can do that, i would like to be sure of what i can and cant. your suggestions and comments in this is highly appreciated. Thanks allot

i know 15" 8jj et20 rota just sits nicely under the gti's fender tyre size 195/50 if not mistaken., not sure bout 16" though.

but i think it would just fit nicely.

yeah bro, i have seen some 15" on satria. Not sure about the offset tho. My concerns are the turning radius. The standard SGTI rims are 16" 6.5j or 7j??, not sure about the offset. Its about 1.5 inch inside the fender. By changing the wider rims, 8jj in this.. wheel is more grounded to the road right? which means, comes to cornering, im sorted?

standard ET from Mitsubishi CA4A (same as satria gti) is 46.

so don't think it can be done without destroying your wheelbearings

offset 20 pretty far out, right? You mention under fender, so is not inside fender. I remember some mention offset 35 already have to roll the fender.
Bro. kaya mention original is offset 46, so offset 20 sits 26mm further out....

et20 not really that far out.....but ngam2 under the sgti's fender.
worse case scenario adjust the camber abit.
but recomended to pair rota wheels with adjustable suspension.

offset 35, just at the side of fender. With rolled fender just nice.
If just under fender then need strong springs....:driver:

Should be ok with some minor modification to the fender. (maybe need to ketuk) You won't notice the difference from outside. I just fitted my neo cps with 17'' 9jj Te37 (offset 25) with lowered spring somore. Front no problem, back have to ketuk n cut some of the plastic fender. But its worth it, looks sick!

i'm currently using 15" 7JJ ET35 with 195-55-15 tyres, front can still clear the fender but not rear, tyre scrap a bit.. even tho i've adjusted the rear camber to -1.8 it's still scrapping the rear fender.. just went to two shops in sunway last week to do fender roll but both refuse to do.. they said the SGTi fender liner making it difficult to do fender roll, they need to open the fender liner first and then need to cut the fender liner a bit.. even tho i've said i'm willing to pay more at both shops but they still refuse to do.. quite frustrated.. maybe i need to find other places to do it
