JUN 272?yeah i blieve ur 1.6mivec is 200whp coz u r using jun 272...u know i got my 1.8NA without mivec 240whp torque 22kg/m but tat is while im dreaming....ha ha hagot high cam...JUN 272 degree from Japan
quite adamant its 300.....got this info from 4gtuners last time (in red)Stock mivec high lift cam is only 280 woh.. otherwise i kena cheated again LOL
ya, maybe you should....who knows u might hit 220whp since a 272 in a 1.6 Mivec can hit 200whp........hehehehe:O 300 means i should be hitting more than 9000rpm... unless i got it all wrong :P
hahahaha shit...all i know is the cam is 272...but lift i really not sure lerr...mayb3xx sorry i cant confirm...same feeling as you mate, even tho i've already sold mine away.......
contreasjun27: any idea whats the lift of the so called 272 high cam from Japan...??......coz Mivec stock cam already 300, i suspect the lift must be really HIGH......:hmmmm:
then u pay more attention on a black gen2 with angel eye and carbon fibre gt-wing ok...hahai stay in rawang....come come show me...
if u using normal emanage then the tuning will be limited for mivec...Hi All,
just want to share..
almost 3 years already using mivec CK on waja..
last year (apr 2007) re-bore to 1.8..
just using e-manage.. works fine wif me
i didn't really understand with this tuning/piggyback thingy.. but my mech. said there's still plenty i can do with e-manage alone..
regards
200 on wheel lah bro...no joke...using emanage the latest emange that got the extra function for the variable valve timing thingy one...200 on engine is it? that wan i give n take 20% edi lu.. 200 on wheel 1.6... pull till what 10k?? hahaha
as far as gen 1 and gen 2 mivec is concern, it does not have variable valve timing, only lift and the lift also not to say really variable, more like a 2 stage lift. high lift and low lift. so how does that extra function on the emanage give ur frens mivec engine more power when the engine itself don't even have variable valve timing?200 on wheel lah bro...no joke...using emanage the latest emange that got the extra function for the variable valve timing thingy one...
yes baby u are so expert hahaha...is Vmanage...sigh all my knowledge rusty dy ever since i left msia for oversea studies hahahah...he's referring to V-Manage, which has additional control over the VVT of latest generation Mivecs....but 1st/2nd gen Mivecs dun have VVT, only VVL wor....hmmm....anyway, i'm interested to look at the dyno charts too, wanna know whats the torque like and at what RPM does this amazing 1.6 makes it 200whp........or at least list the mods done to the car......
LOL i'll ask my friend to provide dyno chart then...btw is a Mivec CK engine...terbalik versionas far as gen 1 and gen 2 mivec is concern, it does not have variable valve timing, only lift and the lift also not to say really variable, more like a 2 stage lift. high lift and low lift. so how does that extra function on the emanage give ur frens mivec engine more power when the engine itself don't even have variable valve timing?
bro, u shud go read more abt the engine 1st. maybe ur fren bullshitting u or something. but anyways, the best way to proof it is..the dynochart :)
yup i strongly agree what spyderslr say...i've been using Emanage for more than a year and it doesnt cost me any problem...Being a piggyback, Emanage Ultimate's mapping capability is almost as good as a standalone as u can get....but of coz there's still limitations as its still essentially a piggyback, more powerful than the Blue or AFC+ITC tho.........as for it burning ECU's, it could b due to alot of factors and not from the Emanage alone.....
