Our area is different but believe you shall have better deal over KL, if you really can't source a half-cut who has E7 GT-A halfcut then you can ask your mech settle for you mah, afterall he's the one will do the transplant job for you right? thats the little effort he should pay.

bro kumar,

1st of all, endorsement to 2.0 is not legal for all wira satria putra, only perdana body can be 2.0 not even powerfull cable can done it right now. if u dont care about it and in certain amount of budget just go for RVR halfcut. As i know most of the spec is as equal as evo2, only its auto tranny, so most of the part is compatible to install to your chassis, only the upper mount small inter-cooler that need to transfer to front mount. Then its can run inside your hood already. Its will be a lot of hassle if you get evo3 halfcut then as you said u want to be its auto, then u also need rvr gearbox also to fit to its.... a lot of hassle..
If u really dont care about budget, get evo 7.5 gta, malaysia boleh marr... any engine can fit to ur putra, if not mistaken its cost around 30k++ for 7.5 gta halfcut.... correct me if im wrong...

Bro Kumar,

Although you never go into modding before but sure you sent your car for servicing right? Engine transplant itself is quite a straightforward job that most of the shop can carry out, sometimes just take the initiative to walk in and check pricing, compare compare, also look at the quality of their work, their client's car, their working environment... eventually you will find a ideal one... Don't just go for the cheapest one and don't those who offer highest will have superb quality...

normally you need to extra ur budget, there will be always some minor small2 problem n changes that sometime happen when or after transplant.

you will need budget when your leg itchy... if you transplant a stock turbo engine in your hood, then you start thinking of a good intake system, a good exhaust system, a good braking system, a good suspension set up and.......... (never ending story) prepared additional 5k so you can do some basic mod at the same time... so a 15k is good to go for a basic transplant and basic mod...

Why dun you just save hassle and invest in a bolt on turbo? just turbo charge your current engine...

hmm that sounds good but im a litle worried i have to say bout turbocharging my current n/a engiine
mainly worried bout its durability but i think ur absolutely right im dam sure my foot will get very very itchy :D
what do u think about a halfcut that is modded already wit the specs as below:
-Exedy semi race cltuch system
-Safely boost at 1.5bar
- Metal Gasket 1.5mm
- Evo3 TD05H 20G Turbine
- Mines Evo4 size i/c
- VR4 RS Gearbox LSD
- Oil Cooler
- SSQV B.O.V
-510cc injector
-sard adjustable fuel regulator
-evo3 head complete
-complete steel i/c piping with silicone hose
-dashboard complete n wiring ecu
-vr4 front brake system
-fuel tank n exhaust 3inch system
-stainless steel banana manifold
-hks 40mm wastegate
-hks open pod air filter

i think from here there will be less to mod rite
forgive my ignorance i noob
