Bro, your problem is NOT the fuel pump it is THE FUEL TANK....
why? cos when cornering the fuel are force to one side right? if it is the right tank there should be a barrier wall inside the fuel tank to avoid it splashing to one side, that is why when your tank is full there is no problem occurred....
if u have a 1/4 bottle (large) of coke... try to hold it horizontally and shake the bottle left and right... you can see some times the center of the bottle will dry...same as your fuel tank... your fuel tank didn't have the barrier to avoid the splashing..... imagine if there is a two barrier inside the coke bottle... it will catch some fuel at the center to avoid the cut-off right? during the splashing... your fuel pump suffer sudden fuel-cut...
I also have experience the problem, after changing the fuel tank to japan fuel injection model... everything ok... my previous car owner didnt install the fuel tank.. they just used the exisiting 1.3 carb tank... just replace the fuel pump to 4age....
Have the internal of the fuel tank checked whether there is the barrier or not.... if there isn't any... congratulations... you have a carb fuel tank.. if there is a barrier... check the fuel pump final height... maybe it is not too low...
Not a very nice feeling to have that happen at sepang....LOL...
