But I would think at certain level, you might feel enough already coz once past that then might get too scary. For me I think around 300-400HP range with good torque delivery in a car weighing no more than 1.5 tons is good enough coz that's damn fast already for me as a road car.

In a way, yes. But Different people different level, some want more and more.....lol

Will need a proper powerful car for that department, that's why i have my e46 coupe, its going to be my night rider, thinking of 1JZ or 1UZ as its powerplant.

To be 300 is way more than enough, sometimes its the setup of the transmission instead of engine power, close ratio gearbox like FD2R can make it sprint so fast despite N/A engine with 222 hp.

Not aware of that, 12 years old car, minimum can get an EVO 9 2006 LOL ...

Pretty sure i will go with a 325i, was very happy with another well maintained one which revs to 7k rpm like a champ and shift crispy. 200+ Hp N/A 6cyl engine really intoxicating. Haven't try K20A - R though. Anyone can give me a ride

3 Series is actually rather big already, not compact. It's mid size sedan and already rather heavy hence not behave like compact sedan.

or more like: overrated....


underpower, then, there is famous engine leaking issue, not to mention that maintenance woes and or especially when it comes to engine hoses replacement...


plus... i'm not really a fan of bmw

S4 for that much?? I thought they are still well over 180k at least

That’s not the S4 you want. No sports diff. If you’re gonna pay that much for road tax you’re better off getting the fully loaded one.

3 Series is actually rather big already, not compact. It's mid size sedan and already rather heavy hence not behave like compact sedan.

It's small for my size, the M-sport seat can't hug my back well.

4 cylinders are prone to above your mentioned. 6 cylinders so far has lesser problems compare to 4 cylinders. But i am aware of the electric water pump issue, it will go out pretty soon.
