GST is already included in the total bill itself so yeah it is like 97
97 finally got a 20 cents drop and other ppl complaining why 95 only 10 cents drop
Was expecting more drop since oil prices are at the all time low, maybe below 1.50 for 95?

This is Malaysia bro, NO CHANCE IN HELL  *plays Mr McMahon's theme song*
Maybe also because the MYR already depreciates so much. If MYR does not free fall like the last 1.5yrs, prices should be even much cheaper nowadays! :banghead:
Anyway specific to fuel price, I'm still not complaining much coz at least Malaysia is still by far the cheapest in the region (except for Brunei).

Yah! know what you mean, like if take ERL to KLIA now is RM55 but if you break journey at Salak Tinggi is RM18.30 and from there to KLIA is only RM4.90 to make a total of RM33.20......hhahahhaha:biggrin:
Now with the revised fuel prices, if want to get 98 for JDM cars, then cheaper to mix 97 + 100 rather than 95 + 100.

tried RON100 before it was launched so nothing to lose (2.25/l), on my 1.0L car, power is not there, finished up the full tank of ron 100 and back to BHP 97 and V-Power 97, instant power feel came back

Your 1.0L is turbo? or what compression to use Ron 97?

R35 GTR should be able to feel some difference I think since its design for 100 out of factory compared to 97

Yah, for R35 or older GTRs should be able to get noticeable power difference coz it's turbocharged car, so can boost up more! Those cars like Evo & WRX also should be able to gain noticeable power.

Actually I was wondering - all the cars I've ever owned takes a while to adapt to new octane numbers. And during the adaptation period, the cars FC and performance takes a dip or is somehow effected. After about 100km or 2 days of driving it settles down and feels better.

Did you give your car the chance to adapt? Since you said after changing back to 97 the power came back. It sounds like your car was tuned for 97 only? Higher octane doesn't mean better power, since it's harder to ignite the timing needs to be adjusted to compensate which'll probably result in more power?

Some cars don't have clever adapting ECUs like the MMC ECUs too. So perhaps this is the issue with those cars that didn't experience the power increase? Or perhaps some engines just can't utilize anything higher than 95/97 like my pathetic Nissan Sylphy.

Most probably your mapping is optimized for just that range

Very true, mine might take up to 3 tanks, but just too expensive to try:smokin::banghead:

Mine can be felt immediately but eventhough the E-manage mapping was around 97 range, guess the original mapping for 100 is far more superior to not being tricked

Mine already run well on 97, now run on 95 even, 100 is just to expensive for me and especially now that the prices of 95 & 97 have dropped further.....lol:biggrin:

By right the 100 should drop also to around 2.40-2.50. Anyway just wait and see coz if demand is low for it then the price should drop too.

These are the upgrades that I plan to install :-

Do you guys think MYR5,000 is reasonable price for these installations? and I was told they would integrate well with my COMMAND system.
