Airtrek member in Ipoh

I think mostly in KL or JB. Ipoh, I can't really recall but there was one member I think.

How's yr car so far? good? During CNY, did you get to enjoy it?

ya, my car in good condition now. CNY still ok la.
but i saw have few Airtrek on the road in Ipoh. maybe they does not have join here.
cause now i need a ori Airtrek MAF sensor to test compare with my now EVO MAF sensor.
see which 1 better.

If your current MAF is working well and normal, why do you need to test Airtrek's? Are you worry there'll be performance issue like less power & bad FC?

because i have check it EVO have 2 type MAF sensor, flow rate is different.
if flow rate does not match the fuel rate, sure the power is not perform well.
so i need to test it and see, do some experiment.
let's say if Airtrek heavy mod, i think the EVO high flow rate MAF sensor is suitable use.
cause now i using the EVO MAF sensor is ok, no any issue come out.
if i'm wrong pls correct me. just share experience and discussing.

I did not dive down into detail why Evo MAF cannot be used on Airtreks. So Ah Wah's comment about Evo MAF is different than Airtrek MAF is correct then. Probably you can ask your mechanic if he can find an Airtrek one to test and if it's good, sell your Evo MAF la...

i think u can use the EVO MAF, cause u have heavy mod.

I see.. not sure about that but need to ash Ah Wah. My mods is more of stock Evo mods, so I think sud be okay based on what u said.

yup, flow rate match with the fuel rate so the power just will perform. this knowledge get from my friend PLAY car many years experience.

n cash mah..

hehe...correct:biggrin:

Err.... not so much la. I am hoping the cam can push the output to around 300whp mark. Then it's only time to increase the torque thru stroker kit la.... and all these, will only move on if I don't sell my Airtrek this year. hahaha..

haha.. just thinking la... not firm. I am aiming for a more civilized car.. but hoping power also lo... continentals maybe. But this economy is pretty unstable, holding horses to see how.
