Airtrek member in Ipoh

Slowbox can be tuned but I don't think mine was touched during dyno-tuning. I wanted to ask him to do that but forgot. Maybe next round if I ever redo up my car, then I'll make sure he tunes it.

Just wanted to add. I've sat in a trek last time tuned by Sky. He not only tuned the ecu fuel mapping but he also tuned the gearbox setting too. Our gear changing is delayed especially when you drive manual, but after tuning, it was almost instantaneous. The gear change feels like DSG. On high rev, the gear engagement felt a like a strong kick.

I asked him if this will hurt the gearbox and he said yes. He said the gearbox needs bigger ATF cooler.

So back to mine. I've increased the power and if I set the gearbox with more aggressive gear change, I am worry I'll screw it up sooner.
 
ur rite.. if everything stock it might be lag pretty bad. but it might be better if its mated with 272 deg camshaft.. i think i would suggest u to just go for pro cam and manual tranny.. it would significantly increase of power and torq..

I am not going too hardcore here. If I throw in 264 cams & manual tranny, I am quite confident to see around 300-320whp. The price tag for both will be around 6K (both used).
 
its not about being hardcore.. its about efficiency.. if u spend alot for power but no guarantee on durability, there's no point. u know our AT can't handle too much power unless u do weight reduction. that's why RVR hyper sports doesn't come with AT gb. IMO..

i know only airtrek for israel domestic market has manual trans.. and thats weird..
