My neo is CPS AT, currently only installed hot bits drop in air filter. With normal driving, country road, my fc drops from 6.4L/100KM to 6.1L/100KM.

Thinking about installing D1 Throttle Controller and Works EMS-1 piggyback ecu.

Pity. Such a pity. I think they should not make the auto version for Neos. Throttle controller is stoooopid. If you fix the snorkel you don't need the throttle controller. You get max amount of air with low restriction. It reduces you throttle response time and reduce fuel consumption.

The first thing CPS owners should do is get the intake snorkel for non CPS. I think the designers were spot on. The new snorkel is made by UMW. You can see their logo below. I think they were trying to dumb down Satrias so people buy Vios.

I have done the change and I can get approx 4.5l/100km (average from meter and actual fill at pump). But was driving 80km/h on open road no traffic.

But if you've got the money get an airbox like Pipercross. You need to make a slight mod as the bonnet scoop for Non CPS Neo is eliptical while the airbox intake is round. From the box you go straight to the throttle body. Less bending means less flow drops. Then you can stuff away the stock airbox and kick it to yesterday. UMW sux!

the reason being of CPS snorkel is to reduce noise at the air intake..if u wanna change to 1st generation CamPro snorkel, then by all means..don't lah bash UMW bro.
its not easy to design that snorkel..

hmmm.... talking about the air intake. I notice that my neo has a similar problem. It is already installed with a simota charger however I noticed quite a bit of turning.... any advise for DIY to shorten it? Hehe....

was thinking of changing to trinity clutch and a higher final drive. What is the recommended final drive ratio for better pickup and still can have a decent top speed of 190km/h? (and also where and how to is the final drive) i know our 5th gear is too heavy for our weak engine to pull.. :(

TQ kcng!

so does the CPS hv a different ratio then the non-cps? also it seem the comment final drive now is a 4.8 @ aftermarket? @ 5th gear 7000rpm the speed is ~ 200kmh, while tyre size is 195/55R15.

also any performance high temp brake pads for the front that can work to 600 - 800degC? & any match rotor for it....

hmmm... try 5.1 custom gearing? Yup now in the market there is 4.8 FD but I think might not be enuff sooner or later =)

I looking to get aftermarket rear lower arms to camber slightly more.

yo... been a long time. Saw a lady driving a black opc neo at my blk just now... LOL almost wanted to say hi but wife is around.

I just changed my clutch to the one by Works Pro 450, RM950. Now its holding is better. I am moving on to find my new rims and coilovers. Can't seem to find any other than GAB and BC.

The rear arm/camber kit is not available maybe some sifus here can guide us on where to get it. I wanna camber my front and rear too =)

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

does anyone using tis brand of brake shoes?
many of us hv tried the blue tag one, but seems like when it gets hot, it loses its braking effect
but for red tag, it goes better when it gets hotter,
does anyone face tis before?
if tis is real, then i would suggest bosch alr...
