vq20 to vq30

WTA : upgrade vq20 to vq30 (2000cc to 3000cc)

I means here,upgrade vq20 engine to 3000cc without change engine..can?

any suggestion???

u cant up the cc by installing a turbo kit. ur just adding power to that same engine by bolting on a turbo...

If money no issue, it can be done. Let count the basic things you need.

Engine block need to bore bigger (that depend if the person doing it did not screw your engine block. pray hard)
Crank rod
pistons
Bearing
Maybe new cam shaft, you need 2 pairs.
new head (you need 2),
injector
ECU remap

Think is the minimal you need to get it running.

Crank rod (manleyy)
pistons (cp piston)
Bearing (ACL)
Maybe new cam shaft, you need 2 pairs. (BC)
new head (you need 2), (why need another head??)
injector (850cc)
ECU remap (Haltech sprint 500)

Already try find performance part for vq20,but i just see performance part for Vq30 and Vq35

If you already bore to 96, then is already >3L, VQ is 93+-, not sure the exact, you got to ask the person selling you the piston cause some have oversize. Boring engine block are really need a specialist shop, you need to ask them to do micro finish polishing. If not mistaken the VQ already pre micro polish.

You need to bore the head make it bigger, else the curved does not match the head.

But with the brands and parts you mention, look like is better of buy another 3L car and do it. Not my money not my decision, only can give you my opinion
