Upgrade vq20de to vq25DD cefiro a33

Im planning to upgrade my engine, just wanted to ask is it possible to just change the engine and the injectors? without changing the ECU or should i get a proper halfcut?
Im looking for a cheaper alternative. I dont mind the 2.0 short ratio gearbox.

Hi friend. Just for ytour infomation for VQ25DD convertion u have to change the whole wiring set. Try get a half cut. Thats better. I've change mine. VQ25DE for A32 I'm not sure it fitted or not, as i know the A32 & A33 wiring is different. For VQ25DD for sure a new wiring is needed.

Apologize for bumping an old thread but I thought vq25dd is originally for a33? Its not plug and play?
