Hi Guys, just want to share some restoration work on my TE71 coupe with fellow ZTH.
This is how the car look like when I just brought it back.

This is how it look like now.

Work done on the car:

1. Strip all the interior

2. Strip the whole air cond system to service and will install it back after this

3. Removed all the tar and just reshape the tar on the gearbox area to prevent extreme heat burn passanger and my leg.

4. Take care of rusty area

5. Cut new plexi glass for both rear side glass.

6. Will redo whole wiring.

7. Will do full spot welding on the whole chassis.

8. Rewrap new interior including rear seat

9. bla bla bla..............................................................

Additional update:

Already take out the engine to ease the some restoration process and spot welding process.

Remove the tar? very easy...make sure u take out everything in the car. For sure u'll rush to finish it up. The most you'll take is 3 days.

Nevermind, my bro will go back to standby for spot welding process.

engine rebuild or not ?
I love this part...
This is very interesting part but it's not my priority yet. But I already have very detail plan for this part.
Top priority now is take care of minor rust parts, lighthening and the most important is strengthening.

I got it for fair price. Someone offer me RM16K right away after I brought it back, but for sure I won't let it go.

My rear tyre sounded (like zhom……zhom….zhom… zhom……zhom….zhom) when drive slow (20-80 km/h). I checked founded the tire surface not flat. Look like wave. Can anyone explain to me what is the problem actually? And what the best tyres should I use if I using Wira 1.5 standard rim (13”)
