bang....whats the minimum and basic clothing requirement to be possesed for a kap cai particapant....to ride on the track?

Hi guys, :wavey: I'm Bart from SIC media centre posting this on behalf of SIC's Track Operation. This is to announce open TD this weekend, 6th September 09

0900 - 1100 : Bikes below 400cc

1100 - 1300 : Bikes above 400cc

1400 - 1700 : Cars

Bikes below 250cc is MYR 70.00, bikes above 250cc is MYR 100.00 and Cars is MYR 200.00.

Take note that fees impose is Tag basis, not Vehicle basis which means;

if 2 drivers sharing 1 car, they'll need 2 Tags.

From now on, we'll try to announce any SIC's open TD (not private TD organize by other party) at this forum for the benefit of 'track kaki'. Any enquiries, please address them to:

We do actually update our website though but if we were to match it with zth pace, yes, relatively we're not that up to date.

Btw, next year's track day will be much different from the way we running it this year. It'll be more organize with proper year schedule and many more. I'll reveal more when the time comes.

I'm not the person who handle complaints at SIC but if you have something to say, and you have your points saying that, I'll make sure it'll get to the right person here at SIC. You can email me at my email address per my first post.

I think if you follow the threads in this section closely you will note all kinds of feedback regarding open track days. Some of it good, some of it bad. But I think it's fair to say most of us track kaki would like to see SIC make the Open Track Days be more organised.

Lookimg forward to 2010's more organised Track Days

TD for bikes minimum requirement are glove, helmet, padding at joints, boots and your bike not leaking oil, so thus you.

Guys, I'm not here representing SIC 'officially' so don't regard me so. I'm here just to gain knowledge from this site like what you all do and if I know something that in any way benefit you guys (Open TD, where to buy discounts ticket e.t.c), I'll let you all know. What I post relating to SIC is common knowledge among SIC staffs at all level and any post that insinuate 'opinions' are all mine, not what SIC stands so don't come to me asking why we don't have F1 driver now :).

I do aware the mix sentiments towards SIC and I know whatever comments been made, they are all meant well. I do what I can as one of zth forumer who happen to work at SIC like conveying your feed-backs to the person who is in charge.

Comments regarding SIC website however, please directed them all to me.

Bart, i think u miss out friday Open track day ? whole day as i know right? if can please put all open track day in a month for us easier to schedule our time and set our car. thanks

Morpheus. There's a track day on Friday but it's not SIC Open Track Day. It is a Close Session organized by a club, so I can't really announce them. I've mentioned earlier on my first post that I'll announce SIC Open TD. I've no right to announce Close TD. Most of you should've know but just to clear the air, not any Track Day is an Open Track Day.

Close Track Day is when track is booked by individuals/clubs to hold track activities for members. It's their prerogative to invite, not SIC. Hence, we can't announce them unless told otherwise.

SIC Open Track day is, literally 'open track' to anyone (with fees of course). It's our prerogative to invite.

I've received many complaints on why we didn't announce track day on our FB and website when there is one and this is exactly why.

If anything goes as plan, we might be able to eliminate this problem next year.

Thanks for your effort for putting the Open TD here! This will be good for track kakis like us to plan and prepare the car for the TD.

I heard 13/9 and 20/9 also got open TD izzit confirm?

oic bart. thanks. i dunno is a close track day because i was invited by a friend. so i tot is an open track day. is it a good idea to pose monthly open track day ? ( i mean all the open track day per month)

Hi bart.ahmad,

Just wondering can the open track day done on Saturday? Just my opinion as Saturday would be nice. After playing in the track, drivers still can rest on Sunday. But if on Sunday, after playing syiok syiok, the next day need to work. haha.

there used to be Saturday Open Track Days 9am-12pm. Less crowds, better weather generally.
