Go ask both college first before you proceed to the college, and which course you wanna take?
Lots of TOC student change to other college, and it's more expensive.
Despark got provide Pre-Degree course for around 8 months, then proceed to US for Degree, also around 8 months too.

Honestly...I'm not quite sure about TOC due to I'm over-aged to join . But...by looking at their promises and advertisements...should be good for newbie like you.
If not....who dares to advertise like that la....:hmmmm:

Despark ar....my buddy's son was there. Get your certificate there...if you can make it to the U.S...:adore: prepare for the whites to kick your a ss...

Anyhow...automotive is all about a degree or skill? Use your brain and survey...

if you're looking for skill....then why bother so much about the degree degree kind of stories?
No point you have a degree but can't even service your dad's car.....

Whites are famous to be real good in automotive educations. Asians...will be Japan definitely.
What make you think you can cope up with them(U.S) after been into Despark?
And how much the costs gonna be like?

These are just my personal comments la.....might be wrong.

Let's wait and see what others says......:thefinger:

Small boy....where's the nearest to you?
If klang...go to WIT(old equipments)
If PJ....go to TOC or Despark(need to enquire properly)
If Kajang....go to Times(poor quality)
If Cheras....go to Promechanix(too new)
If Puchong...go to Tractors(no comments)
If Sunway....go to New Era(basically they're more to selling equipments)

During my time those days....FIT was the best la :adore: but now closed...
I think more or less every college is the same la....
Since you said you wanted for SKILL....look around for one with that can provide a better practical la...

The above list I got it from my buddy's son....hope its helpful....

What school also good. All depends on how much effort and time you are willing to pay for the study. Of cause, talent also another thing. A lot of people didn't even study for specific subject but end up with become a pioneer in that field. The different is only studying can save you plenty of time and hardcore effort + got a paper to convince people to give you a chance to work.

I see plenty of youngster studying at college or U but they have no vision or planning. Studying because everyone else also study and having that piece of paper is sort of cool. Going school not for study but to join friends and looking for chics. I hope you know what you are doing and should prepared for wearing a dirty coverall after your mechanic school. There is no bad school but only poor quality student. All school also the same, teacher give you only 1 and you need to find the other 9 by your own self. Not to forget, in mechanic field, many things are heavily rely on experience. Just like how to open a seized screw with loosed head, besides chisel and hammer, you can also drill a hole then use easy-out or just weld another bolt onto it then open it by a wrench. I don't think any book in any college will teach you such thing. Just don't think that after school you can become a real mechanic. Real life is different compare to a training environment. This is a very good subject to study but it is as hard as studying laws or pharmacy.

ur future is not on them, but is in ur own hand... if the coll not good, nvm, u still can study by urself when u working, then try harder to learn more, dun b like Proton ppl in servisk center.. try to update urself & try to apply more short course in Jap or USA or UK.. or even GER... thats made a good mech but not the coll who made them...

Stan,

i have to say i am very pleased with the product and your service. Been using it for almost 1 year now. The car handles extremely well and comfort not much sacrifice.

currently i am using 3KG springs for front and rear. Since i need to carry my baby girl around, need to reset to really soft setting, you know la, Malaysian road so many port holes and road patches. like stock suspension or even softer. is this possible? and how much? Do i need to change spring?

thanks
ian
