its very hard to find vr4 flywheels nowaday and to pricey, above RM400 .. I end up ordering fidanza flywheel from overseaanyone selll vr4 flywheel?
That's right. Haih... too bad forgies are still expensive for GSRsnow day...all the after market piston not that expensive compare those days,
so why not opted the forge piston...sure u wont regret...do it rite at the first place.
Kaye nampak..its very hard to find vr4 flywheels nowaday and to pricey, above RM400 .. I end up ordering fidanza flywheel from oversea
Bukan kayela bro, terpakse very hard to find, have to go round 1 kl and the price:stupid:That's right. Haih... too bad forgies are still expensive for GSRs

6G67 block + EVO 2 pistons + EVO 2 head with stock head gasket should give U Compression Ratio 8.5. Which is similar to EVO 2.Hi bros,
I just acquired a Satria with 4g67 engine block and pistons + evo2 4g63 head, ecu and MAF + td05 18G with banana manifold.
I would like to know from experience, how much boost can the 67 block and pistons withstand? I checked my compression is about 170-175psi across the range
Thanks in advance guys :)
Get it bro...Thanks for the reply :)6G67 block + EVO 2 pistons + EVO 2 head with stock head gasket should give U Compression Ratio 8.5. Which is similar to EVO 2.
Bro... don;t ask how much boost ur engine can take. consider how much hp ur engine can withstand.
Have a targetted HP and begin modding from there. See what u should do.
Or u just gonna boost as high as ur engine can take and see wad HP figure it can produce. Then live along with it... If management is good, tunning is good, other supportive modification is also good, 2 bar no problem.
If stock ECU to manage the air fuel, 1.5 bar and ur engine gone....
Get it mou..?
A 67 block has the same configuration as a VR4 block. So, u think it's safe to bore a VR4 block..? So, that's the answer for the 67 block.it safe to rebore 87mm at 4g67 block?
With a 18g, it;s not easy to achieve 300whp with 1.85 strokers. Bore it up to 85mm and + fuel management. Tune up to 1.3-1.4 bar. Should get you around 270-280whp.Get it bro...Thanks for the reply :)
I am pushing currently 215whp @ 0.8 bar...
Not greedy la...target 300whp enough liao
btw, i'm still using 4g67 pistons (so its still 1836cc only :( ) But to compensate for hi comp, I got 1.5mm MHG to lower compression to around 8.5:1
Whats the best way to reach my target? Some management?
Thanks
Boring was never safe... But acceptable. Make sure tunning is good.so it is safe bore 87mm on vr4 block?hehehe..newbies
