haha, someone voiced out the truth about proton. Perodua on the other hand, is also locally made, but in comparison with proton, perodua is hotel cuisine whilst proton is tepi jalan warong.
Same goes for their after sales SC workmanship, if u go to Perodua SC the service is a bit expensive but good workmanship.....You can FORGET about Proton SC, they hired clowns instead...

And so the hard earn money is yours, to choose what you should dig in.

Let give a fair review
Neo - Not so practical - cramp interior- low driving position--- advantages is good handling car compare to MYVI, sporty look outside period. Quality questionable as i saw few NEO exhaust muffler rusty n falling off.

Myvi SE - Practical car , comfy setup, nice pickup, allot of head space n leg space for passenger of 4 to 5 People Disadvantages is crappy top speed , when loaded with 5 people pickup also having some issue in auto myvi. Handling cant compare to NEO

So Conclusion want fast n sporty car but not so practical ( quality in question) - NEO is winner
want a comfortable car, and reasonable speed n pickup (no much quality issue) - Myvi Se is winner

the exhaust rusting syndrome started from Gen2.. n models came after that share the same problem overtime..

test drive it, feel it and decide later.
test the handling, the stability at high speed (long distance), the noise, vibration and harshness

most importantly u like the car - budget not a problem since its similar price....

engine capacity - 1.6 vs 1.3

think...:)

if u think u want to use the car for long.. choose myvi..
my wife using myvi & 6month later i bought gen2 fullspecs..

but then after 2years, myvi still in excellent condition, never been repaired.. while my gen2 is like my father's 20 years car.. always in and out workshop for repairs.. my honest advice, avoid proton.. the design may looks good, the seller must be promising a lot.. but reality check.. its totally damn ****. It better u spend more money in better cars, rather than u spending money repairing your lousy cars..

Think more than twice man.

p/s: i wish to bring our pm sit inside my car, and see how proton gen2 fullspecs performed.

Cheers :)

got a question, how we can know whether our spark plug had better ignition after we add on something like better ignition coil / spark booster?

i saw in carrefour there's a small device to let customer to see how the spark like after add the extra things...so how we goonna test it in car? can we just take out 1 spark plug and see how it fire?

maybe a bit silly but i think this is the best way to prove whether the booster things we added are useful or not...
