Jaguar to complete production of the original lightweight E-Type!

Turning the clocks back to February 1963, Jaguar planned to produce a batch of 18 exclusive cars under the ‘Special GT E-Type’ project. These cars are a series of lightweight, aluminium-bodied variants of the E-Type that was specifically designed for competition. Even so, only 12 units ever reached the customers by 1964.
