hello there...i'm just curious...

is there a 4G92 DOHC non MIVEC?

or can the 4G92 SOHC be converted to DOHC?

change your 4g92 sohc head to 4g91 or 4g93 Dohc head..
and walla..4g92 dohc...around 140 hp (i think) ;)
 
Yes got 4G92 DOHC non MIVEC. I saw it before at halfcut shop. Price is around rm3800

Yes...he's right.It is a bit expensive compared to 4G91 DOHC...Now with more demand, the price rise like hell woo...
 
493 Mivec is a hybrid engine, therefore i don't think u can get it from a half cut shop. You would need to buy a 4G93 block and get a mivec head yourself.
 
4G92 DOHC exists. but i would recommend against it. colleague of mine currently running this, certain spare parts can be quite hard to find. and when you find them, usually expensive.
 
i think almost all the spare part same with 4G93... the diff will be leght of timing belt n piston ring size...
 
4G92 DOHC does exist.... fuel consumption quite low n it's a frenly engine.... spare parts easy to find... :)

[4g92 DOHC got a few half cut around klang. i go cari 1.8 GSR RS then saw
he dun have RS ask me y not take the 1.6 damm stupid fella ahahaha.
dun use 4G92 cos f**king a lot of problem n not as reliable as 4G91. one of my firend install until regret jor. i think is the most lousy engine by mitsubishi.. just my 2 cents
 
really?

maybe ur fren got unlucky and get himself a bad condition halfcut.Things that are used condition is always like that.Mainly it depends on ur skill nad sheer luck.

p/s: actually im going to transplant a 4G92 DOHC...

what does it mean by MIVEC head ar??/... which part??.. i thought MIVEC controlled by the ECU or something??...
lighten me abit on this... jz start to learn saja... coz i heard mivec can save fuel... hehe...
 
I think the head is where it includes the head cover, pistons, camshafts n stuff's...its the part from the gasket and above...i think lar...anyone knows what u get if u buy the MIVEC head? Come to think of it...MIVEC head sure2 susah to get and if get sure mahal woo...MIVEC can definitely save fuel if u keep ur rev below 5500rpm one la... :rolleyes:
 
just tot who ever is interested should know... i have 4G91 head for sale... free timing belt, ngam if use on 4G92 wanna convert DOHC. =Þ PM me for price laa... =Þ

Around 1K include all the parts need to be replace +workmanship + PNP

my fren onli dynoed 77hp on wheel can tapau b16a big vtec in EG body...so dont u think the b16a got prob?

4g92 spare parts might be hard 2 find i dunno...but wat i think is tat mostly 4g9x series share almost same thing...many can be rojak also...

its running wit high compression piston...compression ratio is 11 compare 2 4g91 onli 9.5
