hey guyz, anyone using these? im going to re-valve my shocks but i dunno where the RG official workshop is......or their contact

any clue? :(

yeap that workshop is sumwhere in klang...near the hospital area!ill give u the contact num as soon as i get aight?!

I'm using RG too and the ride is too hard for me too. But I think dun need to revalve. Just change the spring to 30 rear and use the existing 40 from the rear to the front.

Regards.

what car are u driving? K-car?

My spring rates are 70front and 50rear.

However, anybody tried HWL springs with RG shocks B4?

quick question, anybody has squeeky sounds when the spring is compressed?
is it due to the rubber sealing i added at the end of the coil?

hey guys...

i just installed my RG adjustables...

the ride is seriously damn bumpy...like roller coaster...

are ur rides like that as well...i need to know whether its mine thats like that or ALL RG's that are like that

Satria 1.6....

it's really quite bumpy...bearable...but i think if other people sit in my car they will puke blood when they get out of the car! :o

I've used RG before...Not as bumpy as other performance absorbers.....anyway.....it was disappointing !!!! NO GOOD AT ALL. Prepare for a change after 8-12 months ride !!!
Cause....it will screw up by that time !!!

my frens satria is ok after 1.5year
I'm into my first year and it seems ok.

Mind explaining what problem occured to you?

my car is crazy bouncy....i dont even know whether my chasis can stand the bouncing anymore...

the car bounces when im braking for traffic light and it looks like its going to "mati engine" like that...that kind of bouncing...which i think is crazy....

your car doesnt bounce at all boggysv? coz i feel mine is worse than a race horse...

maybe my springs aren't progressive enough..if i change my spring rate would it make things better?

im really very dissapointed with the comfort level of my ride... :(

one more thing...when i push the car down...the car wont even budge....its DAMN hard....doesnt even wanna compress at all...

springs are compressed really hard. crazy....

wats the problem ah? any RG sifu's here can help?

does anyone know where i can find RG springs arr...i wanna make the ride softer...its too hard now!

ANYONE!! PLS!! HELP!! :(

call jack lar...ask if u can trade in your existing ones.

I've posted his contact b4, search for it

what kinda settings did you choose for your ride NukeeZoid? What are the spring rates?

Standard for Gti is 5.5kg front and 3.8kg back. If yours is a 1.6 then the front should be less.

hey nukee bro...adjustables are generally hard. there's none that's soft and comfortable just like stock. more so if its monotube compared to twintube. you should have known this before u installed ma...nobody told you?....wait till you sit on my APM monotube....heheheh...and as opposed to wut danny said stock gti's spring rates are 5.5kg(F) and 3.8kg®, my current springs(came with the adjs) are 5kg(F) and 3kg® and heck its not softer, by the rates it should look like it should, instead its 50% stiffer....

wut i'm trying to stress here is the spring rates does not account much(it does to an extent) to the softness of your adjustables. so even if u change springs it would still be hard. i'm the walking example of lower spring rates than stock but stiffer ride???...its the construction of the absorber itself....you will need to revalve and stuffs. if you have the dough, do it trial and error. so if you have just got urself a monotube, good luck in getting used to the stiffness...well i did and i'm sure you can too...cornering is 'fantabulous'...hahahah...win some lose some lorr....

or last resort sell it off and get a twintube adjustable HWL for RM1600. you would be more than happy.

cheers bro :D
