by the way, can i put 99 spec auto gear box to my 96 spec EJ?

are they actually identical or some different? i was told the auto gear box for EJ 6,7,8 always got problem. not sure about EJ yr 99,00. any idea?

i juz kno that 99-00 GB is far more smooth than 96-98 GB.
and the speed limit, u can refer to owner manual fr Honda,.

i've spoke to a foreman in a workshop nearby just now and he told me that there are actually a few model of gear box for EJ. and he also warn me to make sure i replace with the exact model. isn't all the gear box install in EJ interchangable?

check the gbox inital code... i think it shud be S4PA-XXXXX
then find the gbox with same initial code. sure can use.
i think i can find one for u if u really interested.

i prefer to put in 99-00 spec gb if it can be used for my ride, since it's a smoother. haven't check the code yet (not really sure where to check though, can i see it inside the bonnet or have to raise up the car?).

can it be used if the initial code is not the same? and how do i determine the yr of manufacturing base on the initial code?

i will be happy if u can get me the 99-00 spec with good condition and nice pricing.

i'm not sure how to identify year of manufacture for gbox... maybe u can find any of ur fren driving ej99 n see the initial code.
