I'm currently driving a 2009 FL FD2, been searching for small mods and simple ones to make the car look lean and neat and yet with some small power raises. I've been thinking of getting a HotInazma MR, but not sure on which is the best for the FD2, or some AFC. Anyone FD2 owners hear care to share some opinions? :proud:

my friend put in :

toda extractor
Gruppe M air intake kit
Apexi RSM.

i think that's about it...the car performs well....on the road and track.

got a lot of stuff you can get la bro....drop by J's Racing and you can see the amazing stuff available for FD2R ...

I see, those mods seem quite reasonable, but how much is the rough price of those? and where is J's racing? I was thinking of installing the bodykit.

LOL , Apexi RSM doesn't have any power gain.

LOL right back at ya bro.

i listed it there cause it removes the speed cut...doesn't that help in some what "performance" or "power" gain ?

ha ha , removal of speed cut doesn't gain power.

it merely removes the electronically limited speed cap, not actual top speed capacity.

Get a K&N drop in air filter (est. RM255), better set of suspension (Current ones too SOFT (if you are talking about NON Type-R FD2) - Eg. Hotbits adjustable... Bodykit (MODULO side + front + rear skirting combined with MUGEN Spoiler). Ultra racing (or Eibach anti-roll kit) bar/s.

That's about it if your car's under warranty... If warranty expired... then:

1) Change FULL Set exhaust system...
2) Change to Open POD air filter
3) Change to lighter rims (same size) or 18".
4) PU Bushings
5) Better Brake pads/Calipers/brake hose...
6) Performance Camshafts
7) Remapped ECU OR Piggyback ECU (eg. Dastek Unichip)

There you have it... A car with GREAT PERFORMANCE, Ride and HANDLING, LOOKS (bodykit), BRAKING...
