Guys,

I have a prob thats been bugging me for quite some time.
Im getting a 19 inch rim for my civic (FD2) but I cant find the right set of springs to make my car low enough (cos the car will look ridiculous sitting so high with the new rims).

I just want to change to lowered springs only and leave the absorbers and suspension stock.
But it seems like all the lowered apring for sale doesnt seem to go low enough. GAB springs can only lower my car only about 1-2 inches which is still too high.

Hoping you all can provide me advice on which spring or method can best make me lower my car by about 3-4 inches without having to change the absorbers/coilovers.

looking forward to your advices. Thank you!

wow, BIG issue eh,...?
i think u should get a whole set of dampers, coz ur shocks will konk out very fast after if u manage to install low low sport springs,..

some even go for spring compression,... which also will affect ur oem shocks,...

juz my ten sen,...

get adjustables. u can set it however low or high u want. it may be alot more expensive, but least u'll be satisfied.

and its serviceable too :) in the long run it will save u money

bro if u have money 2 get 19 inchi rims.. then u should get de adjustable aso.. cause it will damage ur standard shock.. n ur ride comforst will be dam teruk one.. trust me..

Get a good coilover setup.

No need for a camber kit, since the FD2 runs MacPherson struts up front.

Better still, get 'bagged.

Slam that shit low. Tuck them wheels.

Balling.

better but the adjustable bro..someone sell the d2 racing adjustabkle just 1.8k,u can try search at forum

I thought the koni-eibach spring combo was low enough for FD2, but if you want adjustability, the adjustables are the way to go.

But 19"?? VIP style?

BOSE? u mean the BOSE Lifestyle series? since when they jump into suspension industry?

saw the BOSE suspension,...
chun lehhhh,...

that bose is not a bag eh??? can jump over humps,...:wavey:

Full electronic control, by a seperate ECU.. the one they show is prototype..

but considering the prices of an F-Con V-pro, you think those systems will be cheap if it needed a seperate controller? (O_o)

The Tien Hybrid Wagon type is much better if want height control.. but unfortunately, FOR MPV only...

Price also can make you terbalik.. just say it's more expensive than you buying a custom requested monotube shock from Tein.
