That mean I have to onhold for CPS booking?
Btw, any new engine release from Proton such turbocharge ?
Well, proton has planned for a turbocharged campro for the next EXORA... however, the built quality of the internals are not as promising... So I guess it's better to get a transplant. But I'd wait till the engine give way first...

In Exora only?
Have any chance for Gen2 ?

Btw, will not go to transplant as chop shop might no longer with us after 2011 :banghead:

Well, things confirmed could be change. As we've seen on the 15YO car compulsary inspection for road tax renew.... So...

Will see it at 2 different perspective.

1) won;t transplant due to the extinction of kedai potong in future. So, no more spareparts...
2) Insist of transplant to JDM engines cause if there is any case of engine rebuild, there are alwez more aftermarket performance parts for JDM engines compare to local engines. Exampla, forged internals... Intake/Exhaust manifold...

Foremost it is a good engine design, why ? The head looks promising (internal) the block looks sturdy , the piston is even a dome type (high compression).

The turn off part is i don't understand why those retarded engineers have such setting on this engines ie: the cam timing(its abit advance for street use so it isn't practical at all ) , position of the engine ( low is always good as it can lower the car centre gravity but they dumb enough to exceed crossmember height) , timing mark ( bloody hell gives me so much prob when nid to mod its timing ) , A/C compressor mounting & so many more to list ..... total imbecile !!!
Last but not least it's internal's material, very disappointing......

What a waste for an actual beauty ( i love the look of Gen-2 & Neo ) it become so dreadful n fall on those dumb engineers hand !!

Bro, FYI, the engine head built quality looks promising because it's made in PERODUA, Rawang... Muahaha... My company is the aluminum melting furnace supplier for PERODUA and last week, we went to uninstall a machine. And i saw CAMPRO head fresh from the die...

And, regarding the engine. If anything happens to the engine head, it cannot be skimmed. If skimmed, it'll over heat the engine.

I always know Malaysia boleh... Yes I do. If Malaysian can invent USB, why ppl say Malaysia tak boleh??? If Malaysian can design airport for Singapore, why Malaysia tak boleh...

It's the matter of saving cost with the right way n method. It's the matter of how much we wanna do it. How much we can put personal profit aside n use the fund properly for r&d n for the ethics n spirit of engineering...

Not only for cost saving u but know for other reason as well.
I got to know that a sikh friend of mind who's his dad was a logistic lori driver. He actually has job ties with some company behind Proton's Tanjung Malim testing n manufacturing co. Somehow i don't know how he manage to get in (legally) he got to know some proton cars are jokes(with crazy accident during testings n failures) n there are even tons of them parked n lie down on a huge empty space sun burning.

That's also available in perodua, and also Toyota(my former employer)... Either reject buffer zone or transfer centre....

TOYOTA assy is in SHAH ALAM. Where I worked. It's called ASSB. Some models are CKD, some models are CBU.

CKD
Hilux, Furtuner, HiAce, Vios(Fully malaysian except for the engine and gearbox), Avanza(Made in perodua), others forgot edy

CBU
Camry(previous model also malaysia assy), COrolla Altis(previous model malaysia assy), and other imported models...

Topgear..? My personal opinion on Jeremy Clarkson is, he always compare a RM50K car with a USD100K car... One of his all time favourite is Lotus. However Proton owns most of Lotus shares. He doesn't really like the reality. As result, he always compares Lotus ability with Proton. Which I really think it's unfair.

Elise 1.8 Old model with front round lamps selling at RM1XXK as a second hand unit. One of proton top model perdana is only selling at RM3Xk. Which is 5X cheaper...

Back to Jeremy Clarkson, he also BOMB a Kelisa and called the Kenari a toaster. But he've not made any comments on the Daihatsu MOVE, the exact same car in Japan under the branding of Daihatsu. Which obviously shown the bias point of view of this Automotive celebrity, Jeremy Clarkson.

But surprisingly, I'm really really impressed with the Satria NEO. The handling... Superb handling... I just hope Proton will improve on their engine design and built quality. Hope Lotus does more participation on the design development of the future Proton's model...

:top::top::top: for proton on the NEO. But just hoep the Satria NEO owner dun la always cucuk the Older Satria.... Brother ma.... IF cucuk the wrong Satria, NEO will just disappear from the Satria's rear mirror within seconds... hehe...

Btw i'm a kenari owner , i know Richard Hammond n James May tested on it n give it a good review(understeer n oversteer in 1 small package !! ) Well wat to say on Jeremy case, their country can voice freely as for ours, say something wrong drink coffee in ISA ....
I myself also a Satria Neo fan but am way disappointed with the engines and many more to list. Hope the can sell me its shell only then i can slowly build up everything at home .....
