that CD i got...but the sound diff feel in car...but i still like the feel in house HIFI

that is the challenge in car audio laaa....very difficult to achieve

pieces taiko should help answer this, he has a million audiophile cds

bro,
i would recommend, you get your self benny benassi cd...... and put it the test you want...... especially the song "satisfaction"....

depend what type of music u like to listen
vocal, jaazz ,drum, techno etc ?

try not to compare car audio with home audio, it's not easy to achieve as like home hifi ...

IASCA TEST CD all the way......buy it and tune it, and test it with ur ear, finally enjoy it, muahaha......

EMMA Test CD... best i hav so far...

but if for tuned SQ system i will always use Eagles - Hotel California and Michael Ruff - I will find you there...

i will not use Eagles songs ....the song is good but too much on Guitars, bass is nice but some woofer it look like to strong bass....the only diff is music instrument from system to system...

depending on yer music taste, IMO...

1. jazz:
i. diana krall- love scenes, when i look in your eyes
ii. fourplay- best of

2. rock/ metal:
i. metallica- ... & justice for all, master of puppets
ii. dire straits- self-titled album, making movies, brothers in arms
iii. eagles- hell freezes over
iv. neil young- are you passionate?, rust never sleeps
v. korn- greatest hits vol 1

3. others
i. tracy chapman- self-titled album, new beginning
ii. alison krauss- lonely runs both ways

Don't forget Tag McLaren Test Tracks.. excelent CD as well hehe!
EMMA SQ test cd, is a bit different compare to IASCA and they only use selected tracks to evaluate your car system .. thats why u think is a bit diff compare to IASCA cd ... hehe!

i would prefer Sheffield Lab CD, various songs in the CD eg. Jazz, Classical, Bass, Ochestra, Instrumental, Acoustic, Unplugged and so on. Usually what i do (sound tuning) for my friend is using this Sheffield Lab CD and thereafter their favourite CDs for fine tuning.

Why Sheffield Lab?
It was recorded proffesional in Sheffield Lab and from diff diff sound engineer. Also included with the CD Label, the explanation of what you are expacting from each song track. So try this ONE CD which cost about RM45 (8 years ago) and feel the deep bass around 25 - 35 Hz. Probably you can just feel without hearing :D

I bought mine from 1U HiFi retail about 8 yrs back. You can try any other HiFi retail when you go shopping next time. Some may have and some may not, good luck. To be honest, i lost touch with TULEN label for some time, if you know what i mean :P
