vtec cut off

hi to all....was just wondering if a stock standard k20a dc5 has a cut off point for the vtec at 8k rpm???cause i can't rev more then 8k rpm...as soon as 8k it goes back down to like 7.5-7.6k...was just wondering wat is the problem n if its normal as i just got my ride.... been a turbo user all my life n very new to vtec...

erm.... mine can go to 9k.... thn cut edi...

theres a rev cut for ur engine...not sure about at what rpm...but the rev cut can be adjusted....but yeah..think its around 8.5k...

thanks for the info bros....i think hondata have to go in ledi then problem settled.... :) anyone know how much it cost approx for the tuning of hondata???
