vios rear seatbelt problem

Hi everyone,

my vios rear seatbelt cannot retract back,
i know it has a feature fully extend automatic lock,
my seatbelt was accidentally fully extended to locking mode now.

do u guys know how to make it retract back as normal?

Interesting, didn't know the seatbelt could do that. You tried yanking it hard to see if it'll unlock the lock?

Yah! never knew got such thing either. What if fat fellow like me seat behind, pull maximum sure lock already. I have sat in so many cars pull max also nothing happens, so only in vios?

Anyway to TS, if cannot retract open up and have a look at the reel....

The locking mechanism aka ALR, is intended for child seat installation. Usually cars that comes with isofix will not have this feature.

Why don't you try some good accessory shop nearby your area. Go to more than one if necessary. They should be able to do it.
If you need my recommendation, go to the one at Jln Bt Kemuning, beside Mydin mini market.
