For normally a stock EJ, if you want to convert to a B-series what are the first thing you would look for from a half cut??? or u jus buy an engine and stock and taruh dalam. Or another words wat worth u look into a half cut??

Get an EK4 halfcut... or if u got a bigger budget u can go fo EK9 halfcut then just plug n play into ur EJ. When looking for a halfcut, try to get a stock one with low mileage. Avoid modded ones or anything messy in the engine bay as you may not guess the history of the engine. Next thing check for any major leakage (small ones like the distributor o-ring is normal). Open the oil cap and look inside the engine on the valvetrain, make sure it's clean (shining silver color, not red). Metal color indicates that the previous owner takes care of lubrication and services on time. Usually if you're really interested, the chop shop people will start the engine for you. Rev up the engine & see whether white smoke comes out. Just my 2 cents.. maybe others may add to the checklist..:_:

may i know the price for half cut for:
B16A (auto & manual)
B16B
B18C (non R) (auto & manual)

is the price for auto cheaper? do type R version come with auto one  ?

thanks!
