if we upgrade the radiator from 0.9bar to 1.3bar, can we still use the same stock water pump and seals if there are any?

i know i need silicone hose to sustain the higher pressure, but im not sure about water pump, seals or any other cooling component need to upgrade or not

my car is kelisa btw

the cooling system may not be able to contain the pressure and will go kablooey. maybe not kablooey ler kan, lol, but it may slowly leak where it cannot hold it in. if ur cooling system cant regulate the engine's temperature, dat shows sumthing is wrong, dont mask the problem with sumthing else dat may give u yet another problem sir

that is my main concern, components not being able to sustain increased pressure and fail prematurely. currently stock engine but plan to rebore cylinder and thats about it :D

my cooling system now is ok, sometimes gets higher on heavy traffic. radiator service is due long ago so understandable. but i just want to raise it to 1.1 bar since most new cars also equipped with 1.1 like myvi, honda jazz all

with alu radiator and silicone hoses and stock system, can 1.1 bar sustain same lifespan as 0.9 bar for cooling system?

there is an issue here, i wud take a serious look at it rather then upgrading to a higher rated rad cap sir. if it only happens during slow/no motion, i think the rad fan needs to be changed, change to a higher flow fan and see how it goes

i changed to new ori denso motor couple of weeks back. i suspected rusted radiator and weak water pump, 7 years never replaced it. i dont think i serviced them during the lifetime of the car :D

anyway, you are right. im sticking to .9 bar coz got lots of horrible experience from ppl in the other forum ive asked. punctured hoses, blown gasket and such..haha

im planning to swap to alu radiator, service cooling system inside out and use good coolant - evans NPG coolant
