Hi all,

Am planning to change to bigger rims and tyres (actually already bought the rims). My questions is which tyres brands are better. BTW, I drive a Mit. Airtrek Turbo.

First on my list in Advan AD07 but damn expensive, I'm looking for something similar. My criteria is good wet grip and good dry grip as well......now days lots of rain so better get tyres with good wet grip. Dry grip is somthing i am not really worried about.

Thanks guys.

wet grip? it has got to be eagle f1 gs-d3
alternatively you can look for kumho SPT.. heard a lot of good feedback

If i were you, I would definitely go for Dunlop Direzza DZ101. They're not as pricy as the Advans, and for your car they're excellent. Relatively quiet performance tires. I'm using them on 15's and 16's now and find them excellent. It's just my opinion ler. But high speed cornering chun also. Got feedback unlike some toyo tires. No screeching until buang. This tire will give some warning.

I'd recommend the Yokohama ES100. Great wet handling characteristics couples with dry performance. Sticks to the road like glue and when taking hard corners. Doesn't lock up too easily too.

Also, i've heard some rave reviews about Falken ST115. Have not personally tried before but my next tire would be these. I'm getting a bit fed up with my ES100. Its just too noisy. Apparently ST115 will be a little quieter. I might even consider Continental or Michelin tyres.

based on your criteria: goodyear eagle F1 is the most suitable one for u.
