 Wah so many people got TitanED!

I also convinced already by so many good testimonials! Sure or not one  ? Ha ha ha!

Stan.. do you have any Civic ES customers? Would really want to drive my car fast but i tell u, my stock suspension  will scare the shit out of u! HA ha ha! just jokin (previously driving Waja... Lotus really rules for stock setup).

Ok.. my current feel on my Civic is comfortable and very forgiving on the humps and bumps of the road... but as usual with comfort setting, u sacrifice handling. Don't know why but Civic ES's rear always feels like floating one especially when u driving fast and the highway's surface is uneven.

Whenver i turn in long corner fast, I would have to adjust accordingly my speed to compensate for not getting out of control (can push further with stock Waja then). So I'm pretty much convinced it is the suspension setup. Overall, just want handling more but still retain back some comfort.

Any Civic ES customer with that kind of request --> Evo like handling but comfortable enough to take Malaysia's harsh road?

Any input are very much appreciated!

hi Knight!

hahah your request is a common one :)
Civic ES.. that's the Civic with the 1.7 CVT gearbox right?

if that's so, i've a customer who consistently bullies other cars at highways (i'm (and TiTAN) are not liable nor responsible for his actions :P) and yet so comfortable he says.

and he's nuts (we love him) the car so new, barely 3000+km, engine bay so clean with all the manufacturer's seal and marker pen seals!
and he came and declares he wants to be TiTANed

oh well, hope he lives long and prosper :P

Evo like Handling? nah. Get an Evo instead :P

Like that, how is he's response after being TitanED? Good?

Get Evo ah.. No money ah

Okie la.. let me rephrase... me want at least Waja / Focus like handling but still retains comfort! Can ah? :P

Thanks!

:D Yeah lo.. see how first.

Cos car still new.. very 'kek sim' to take it apart so soon. Furthermore... he he he  $ $ $ have too much commitments.

But wouldn't mind a test drive to see how's the improvement in handling TiTanED Civic ES would be.

:P Keep me posted.

;) I know this may sounds stupid.. but I'm a newbie in this area :P

What should be done first?

1) TitanED suspension or change RIMs + Tyres first?

Thanks.

Mr Roh is good for the test drive :)

we'll arrange a suitable time.

PM me when you're good and when you're not.

Offset?
the difference (of distance in mm) from the mounting face of the rim (that mounts to the knuckle/hub) to the center of the rim.

Before you do that, make sure you know the difference between the suspension for:

A) 2001/2002 Civics and 2003 (beige interior)/2004 Civics?
B) Difference between 1.7 & 2.0 spring/dampers?

Be careful.

what he meant was:

different models may have (usually) different spring rates and damping rates due to the different weight of the engines.

spring/dampers?

one's a spring, used to absorb all the crap our roads has to offer and literally carry our car off the road.

damper?
slows and controls the spring from bouncing outta control. Also controls the rate of roll, although not the ulitmate roll la.
(springs and anti-roll bar does that control)

both springs and damper/shock absorber must work in harmony to give a good feedback/feel to the driver/passengers.

Hi ZTH,

I was driving back home at midnight while my car ran over a road bump at 40-50kph on a downwards slope. As i was approaching the house, i realised that some liquid was leaking consistently from underneath the car. I quickly parked my car at the porch and examined the leaks, fearing it might be oil or petrol. however, the liquid was actually clear and odourless. I am uncertain of my car's condition; was the liquid just water or something else? I have reason to suspect it's not just...
