1. TD06 ? many series la...alot of ppl find used ones from truck..the compressor wheel is so called 'single finn'...produces colder air but flows less...'double finn' actually flows more air per Cfm but produces hotter air...therfore u need a good intercooler to chill it...

2. As joeker mentioned..truck / lorry / excavator use probably the same turbo as for our car...BUT...the difference is...The same turbo wud be laggy on ur 2.0 litre because it was made for 6 cyclinder, 16 litre truck engine...thats why the truck doesn't have much lag...

Why is 20G most popular here ? well...itz considered old tech..and due to the bolt on style...many mitsu fans opt for the 20g...but then again u need the other components to complete the puzzle...no point having a nice shirt but no pants or shoes to complement...in the end..it wud still turn out to be a disaster..

1.is mine twin fins???...sure looks like one but dare not to confirm....

2.if mine were from lorry or etc. does it mean it uses bigger turbine wheel than 4 cylinders wan???in theory bigger turbines make bigger boost rite???lag problem maybe got but have to sacrifice lor if not aiyakk rugi bought the turbo....

3.is mine 20G's???other sources said it looks like from garrett...does garrett usualy use 20G as a reference oso....??? :blink:

1. Garrett does not make 20G... alot of mis-information going around KL..

2. Pls send me photos of the part number on the plate...then i wud know..ur pics only see from the side..

t3 and td06 and k26/27 or H1C / H1E...all use a similar rectangular flange...these were old designs which were made to drop in on each others model...

but new designs are all coming out with odd shapped flanges, therefore harder for competitors to replace or drop in on their models..

so it's no big deal if the flange is like a T3...or the larger T04 type...they all share a same base.. it's just that Garrett is more popular, which is why they alwiz think that it is a Garrett T3 or T4 look alike..

oOOooo...it mean that flange doesn't have copyrights issit...do u mean any turbo can make their flange in any fashion they wan to to fit the certain flange on certain type of vehicle(apa aku tulis nie?)..... :)

some newer design have intergrated manifold..means u have a manifold moulded together with the turbine housing...

hehehehe....what to do...no money but still wanna modified sana sini....hihihi...besa lah in this kinda world where we have disfunctional economics....i'm not like those who can just say "Papa/Mama i wan rm4500 to get those set of defi's at N1,amoil,KSP,Speed D or what ever.....i like them lar...lokk beautifull lar in my car....Bangggg!!!...mummy or daddy give maney then go straight to shop buying those DEFI's...only to discover that within 2 months or so...everything gone aledi.....
