Swap dc5 02-04 to dc5 05-06 exterior part questions

Hi All,

Anyone selling the dc5 exterior part 05-06, such like front bumper, front lamp 05-06, and etc..and also anyone did swap those part to 02-04 dc5? without modified any mounting..please advice me since i would like to do so...

not easy to get used facelift parts ..u might need to look around chop shops but it can be frustrating effort. unless u willing to buy brand new. u can get most of them from exceptional honda parts in glenmarie. but its gonna cost u a fortune.. facelift front headlight housing without ballast bulb is already RM1,600 per side, rear light housing is RM970 per side... gulp!

Hi there, ya u are rite..i going to get from chop shop of cos. and it really cost me quite a bunch but as long as it wun need to chop off any metal part on my chassis. cos most of the guy told me lot abt it and it need grind this grind tat...so i wondering....

basically the conversion from 2003-2005 on DC5 will not require any cutting of your panels etc. its direct bolt on. but u must purchase all necessary parts as below:

1. Right Side Headlight- 33101-S6M-A51
2. Left Side Headlight- 33151-S6M-A51
3. Right Headlight Bracket- 71140-S6M-010
4. Left Headlight Bracket- 71190-S6M-010
5. Upper Grille- 71121-S6M-J01
6. Lower Grille- 71102-S6M-000
7. Right Fog Light Cover- 71103-S6M-000
8. Left Fog Light Cover- 71108-S6M-000
9. License Plate Bracket - 71145-S6M-A02

* part no are based from Acura RSX but it should not differ much with the JDM. rear end conversion is also pretty similar. :)

I've tried to find the NFL parts before sending my car for painting, but extreamly difficult to find it. Most halfcut sells the Pre face lift front cut. Even type S NFL is hard to find!

Very clear information....shud check with honda dealer for this new items.if my budget allow.i having some contact with those modification works.where i got rear bumper, and rear brake lamp housing too...but not yet get the front lamp and front bumper.

Bumper is different so a FL bumper is also needed?

What about the bonnet and fenders? Are they the same? Sometimes theres slight differences u might not realise (usually in order to nicely fit in FL headlights).... but dunno, maybe bonnet and fenders are identical...

Yup you're right. FL bumper is different than the old model as it doesn't have the dual curve for the headlight. Unlike EK 99 conversion, 2003 DC5 fenders and bonnet can still be used for the FL conversion ::wavey:

no. 5 is not inclusive of the red H emblem.. part no is 75710-S6M-Z11. but dont have the no for the 'type-r' emblem thats attached to d front grill.
