Anybody think standard registration number is good?

KL, Penang and Johor register so many cars every year. KL plate for instace complete one series just over a year. example

series WF in 1996/97/98
series WG in 98/99
series WH in 2000/01
series WJ in 2001/02
series WK in 2002/03
series WL in 2003/04
series WM in 2004/05

and now into WN plates..if no mistaken WNG.

melaka changes number plate twice a year nowadays. negri sembilan and perak have faster rate but trengganu and kelantan quite moderate. perlis has the slowest i think...now only at RG is it?

as the rate is not standardised, its quite difficult to remember what year of registration one car is.

if u think the idea is good, what kind of number arrangement wud u suggest?

i am thinking this.

example
A 123 ANW

1. first letter to show the year lets say 2006.
2. three digits and the first two of the last alphabest wud be the car registration number.
3. the last alphabet is to show car comes which state. ie W from Wilayah, A from Perak, D from Kelantan or Q for Sarawak

another example is

C 982 BBJ

this wud tells us that the car is registered in 2008 and registered in Johor.

how about that? any other ideas?

let say the goverment will start this soon, dont forget the whole idea comes from zerotohundred.com! he he he:D

IMO, there are no problems with the issue of the car registration,so, gov will not waste time at RnD at this issue!

my opinion only...
change something if got problem, if there is no problem, y change it?

JPJ get millions from this special tender n ppl seems liking it
