So far, most people I asked, still prefers the orange. Before I painted orange, I initially wanted the Impreza blue but my friend's Corona had beat me to it. We sent for painting at about the same time (not knowing what color each other will paint) but his got ready first & he painted that blue already !

So my painter had the orange color custom mixed for me. But the problem with custom mixed paint is that you can never get back the same when you touch up; worst with pearl effects.:tongue:

I think it's better to change the rear bumper to AE92's as well & remove the Corona emblem. So people will be :hmmmm: !

thank bro..no la...rear bmpr std st150...just make modi at my rear fender...make it more bulati was keep the ae92 lamp+fender+grill about a year...kmpul money dulu..baru can paste it in to my st150...student lg lo....st150 d best

Frankly, I've no intention to sell my wife's car at this moment. It's just that this guy asked me to sell it to him but offered me a ridiculous price. He just thought that I'm :stupid:, that's all.

I asked him,why don't you get one & do it yourself ? His answer was, it'll be more costly to do so...:rolleyes:

So I told him to do up one & sell me at the price he offered me.

Pearl white did cross my mind before I painted it orange but according to my painter, the Corona's body is not round enough. So the pearl effect (color change) will not as good & will turn yellowish after some time.

However, it's a good suggestion & I appreciate, it, bro. Thanks. I just drool when I see the present model Camry with pearl white....

I was quoted RM 3k+ for the same color & brand (Dupont) of paint/clear coat but with extra bling-bling (diamond flake) here in my place. So RM 4k is reasonable coz if your present paint is not metallic, extra charge is imposed. Don't worry about the paint, it'll last more than 4 years, it's the rust that gets to you first; well at least that is what's happening to me.

My car's body is also badly rusted; not exactly a bit, a bit. I've changed/replaced rest of the body parts with JDM ones but I can't change the body.:rolleyes: I've repaired it when I painted my car about 4/5 yrs ago; now it's back.
