Hey guys,

Thinking of buying one of those Shuttle PCs.
They are so small and nice.
Any of you have them ?
Any place where there are a lot of choices of these PCs ?

Thanks and take care.

If you're thinking about mini casings and modding this website is good for info.
Though if you're thinking of getting one i gotta tell you its pretty cramp when upgrading, there isn't alot of space for extra drives and removing stuff is kinda difficult coz its compact.

So its best as a build and use only machine. I usually associate them as three types..
1. GF's pc - watch dvd, homework and internet only
2. Entertainment center for your hall - you can sort of DIY an xbox (emulator), digital PVR, mp3 jukebox, dvd player, etc. which is connected to your cool amp, speakers and of course big tv.
3. Land party - yeah, people with no money for high-end notebooks can use this

seraph,

thanks for the link man !
actually i want a Shuttle because it looks cool only.
But then I add the things I want, came up to quite EX.

casing + motherboard about RM1500,
cpu, ram, HDD, cd,etc have to buy separately. :(

gonna get etiher a DELL or a souped up clone. lol ..

hehe if you're looking for COOL then i suggest don't get shuttle or mini casing no space later on B) but its quite worth it for budget pc comes with casing, motherboard and powersupply. cost between 500-800. rest you can buy cheap generic stuff total cost will be below rm1500

soup up clone is good. hehe. try get one of those alluminium casing if you can afford it, very cool and good for modding ;)

have you been to this website? http://www.alienware.com
