Should I replace perdana?

yup memang its the roadtax which kills the car.... the 350 is a very reliable car if not abused, nothing very much goes wrong with it.........

275/30/19 < habis bankrap when mau tukar tayar.... im running 18"s and already not looking forward to changing tyres...

What I meant was, let say at 140kmh cruising rpm would be around 3.5k ..the boost kick in at 3k rpm..

Would it boost through out the journey or sooner or later the pressure would equalize

When accelerate the boost come in from 3k rpm, but when cruising even at higher rpm it does not boost because constant speed

Yes, I guess the only main problem would be our country's displacement based roadtax system. FC is reasonable for 350Z. An owner once told me that he owns a Camry and 350Z. On highway, 350Z achieves better FC than the Camry. His 350Z is an AT version. 350Z had a very nice sound too if they change their muffler... Stock not so nice.

For tyres, my relative is using Indonesian tyres which is ATR Sport previously and now Accelera PHI2. Even with those brands, tyres are not cheap. :banghead:

19" mah! maybe next round can check China tyres.....lol:driver:
However the PHI looks nice, flat and square, looks wide but I remember the reviews not good....hhahhaha

I don't think he will risk his original CE28 wheels by using China tyres, hahaha. I think he drives his car very often too, so I think that could be the reason that he chose cheaper tyres. Other tyres could have lower threadwear.

Accelera I don't think that good either. China tyres up and coming dy. Landsail now makes Aircraft tyres......

For normal non racing use and city drive, maybe that is okay? Maybe I should ask my relative the next time I meet him.

Landsail is the one you mentioned before that it scored even higher ratings than some branded tyres right?

Yup, but only one model only. The others don't have good reviews......lol:biggrin:

Haven't seen any Landsail over here yet. For now, only seen before Jinyu, Sailun... One more is Rovelo which I'm not sure is it from China or not.

Even Vietnam had started entering tyre industry. I've heard that their country currently is undergoing a lot of industrialization.

Yup, since the start from Taiwan and Korea, investors have gone to Malaysia and then Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines but now last 2 not stable and Malaysia is now expensive, so China and Vietnam becomes the next place to go to. Even some China places also getting expensive....

Those earlier countries have undergone a lot of development already. Labor cost not as cheap as before. Since Vietnam now is going through rapid development, probably that is why many companies are setting up factories there. As for Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, not so sure about those country...

Political Stability of the country plays a part. We are OT already, Better we go back to the Perdana......lol

You got a point. If politics not stable, nobody wants to come since new laws can be enforced and changed any time.

Thread starter din't say anything about his Perdana already.

How high is your RPM during cruising at 160/180? Won't it be a bit noisy?

On a flat road.. roughly 4k for 160.. and slightly more than 4.5k for 180

Stock exhaust won't hear much..but mine isn't stock..no complain from my wife..should be acceptable exhaust note..hahaha:smokin:

4k RPM is fine enough for cruising. My Wira already exceeded 4k RPM even before 160. Sound is quite loud too especially wind noise. Tried before 140, stability is still ok but noise is loud. Before engine mounting change, noise is even louder from engine.
