what do u mean by "Freedom ECU for 4AGE. Plug n play unit".
no need more tuning ? default setting already fit 4AGE requirement ?
which 4age ? 16v ? 20v ?

Just to ask, i heard some said stock engine with no performance part upgrade
won't benefit much if just put stand-alone ecu only, is that right?
in order to utilize at least 20%-50% benefit from ECU,what other upgrades do we need ? hi-cam ? ligthen parts??

it mean the ECU come with socket for either AE111, AE101, AE92 or AE86.
Just plug n play and don't need to redo the whole wiring.
ALL standalone need tuning, if don't need tuning what is the purpose purchase standalone unit? Just stick with OEM ecu will do.
Even without other peformance hardware part, 4AGE engine do benefit from better A/F ratio and aggresive ignition timing adjustment. Beside that there are alot more variables that you can play around in order to increase the peformance of stock engine in standalone ECU.
Or else, those ppl won't spend so much money just to purchase standalone ECU.
 
It's worth to go for standalone, although it's more expensive, but it's really pay off.
 
then how much is the used freedom ecu that u posted? u letting go? i thought u said it's good?
 
The other set is for 20V engine. Plug n play for silvertop wiring. Can fit in Blacktop wiring also but need to mod the wiring abit.
 
which standalone can fit for 20v BT which has potential for turbo/NOS upgrades? can freedom do this?
 
All standalone able to do that included Freedom, you have to use suitable MAP sensor for turbo application.
