348TB. Such a nice car.
I'll take this over the 430/360/355.
Spotted today at around 9:00pm, behind Ampang Point.
(348 picture removed)

hmm, i wonder why u'd prefer this over the successors..
the 348's 'attraction' are just not.. 'good' enough for a ferrari badge when it was launched, i think..
it wasnt exactly 'fast' or handles exceptionally well..
it's not memorable as in it did not really came out with new innovative tech... nor was it an icon..
of all the recent ferraris.. from the 80s to the 90s.. i think this would be the least prefered ferrari by the enthusiasts..
the fact that a honda could outperformed it at that time didnt help as well..
i would believe the nsx was wat made the guys at maranello worked their ass off and come out with the awesome F355...

but then, i understand 'one mans poison is another man's meat'. Me myself would love a 80s 328. It's got the dramatic killer 80s look la.. :biggrin:

355 is the best! that or the testarossa. slurp slurp

For the win. =d

Wow, nice 993. Gemballa Avalance style. Nice paint job as well..

Is that Menara PJ carpark?

Yep, right in front of Amcorp Mall there. My new office is there, just finished shifting recently and I'm already more than happy - quite a lot of nice plates and even cars sometimes. :top:

The number plate really drop the standard of the car.....:mad:

Nice font though :biggrin:

This was taken at Sunway hotel, during the CIMB club Get@Car Award for year 2008. What I heard from the guy who works at Gemballa is that this is a 996 AWD originally. Body styling fully made in germany and installed on this car over here. It's converted to a 997 look. Engine has been modified to a rear wheel drive, kicking out 650bhp. Hence, there is a sticker on the rear of the car that says, "GT650". Rear seats have roll cages.

There was also a Lexus L460L or something like that. Road tax is RM27,000+. Crazy la. hahahaha :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

Nice Porsche 993 with some nifty bodywork.
<snip>

Am I the only one that thinks the owner kind of ruined the original looks of the car? :( Not really a fan of the bodywork on this. To each their own I suppose.

a 993 would look best in it's original bodywork, and if bodywork were modded should be done to RS, or Clubsport, or the extremly rare RSR or wide body GT2 style.

3099. i think most s'wakian knows that. i think la...b'cos u know...the rich Chinese tycoon do believe in good feng shui on this numbers....can't say they are too superstitious though....what they think or what we think also doesn't matter, they are still super rich though.

u can see in s'wak most of the cars bearing plate 3099 are the top brass of Samling company, if not; the cars or vans owned by Samling too.

just for sharing yeahh!!:biggrin::biggrin:

Question about that Gemballa Avalanche.
Why the reg. plate so new? BJS8..
They've been here for some time already and only now it gets a number plate?
There's a silver one as well..

Edit: Oh, thats a 996.. my bad, forgot to read description again.. :)
Looks like a real Avalanche-converted 997 though.. impossible to tell it was a 996.

anybody knows if there are any bugatti eb 110s here.....paultan.org says that there is a charity run at sepang in feb and anyone that pays such and such an amount of money gets to take a ride in a supercar ranging from the merc-sl(not a supercar) to the lp640....and then there will be an exhibition on cars like slr and bugatti eb110...maybe some of you might wanna check it out...
